Publication conditions

To publish an article in "Sloboda Scientific Journal. Philology" № 14/2026, it is necessary to take such steps until July 10, inclusively:

1. Fill in the information about the author;

2. Send the article formatted in accordance with the requirements, to phil.spu.sumy@gmail.com 

No more than one article by the same author (co-author) may be published in the issue.

Academic integrity

The editors of the collection carry out an anonymous review of articles and a check for the presence of plagiarism. Articles in the publication are checked for plagiarism using Strike Plagiarism.com software from the Polish company Plagiat.pl.

Prohibition to refer to the aggressor state’s scholarly papers

It is prohibited citing and including in the reference list russian-language contributions published in any country, incl. papers written in other languages but published in russia and belarus.

Publication contribution

Submitted manuscripts are subject to editing, peer review, and plagiarism check.

If the article successfully passes peer review and is accepted for publication, the author will be provided with bank details for payment of the publication fee.

After making the payment, the author must send a scanned copy of the receipt to the editorial office.

The cost of publication is UAH 1500 (for 12 pages). Each additional page is charged at UAH 50. If desired, the author can order a printed copy of the journal. The publication fee covers the costs associated with the processing, peer review, and/or publication of the article.

The author sends confirmation of the payment (scanned receipt or its photo) in electronic form to phil.spu.sumy@gmail.com

The editorial board accepts individual articles submitted by postgraduate students enrolled in state-funded programs for publication free of charge, provided that the manuscripts are authored solely by the students (without co-authors), comply with the journal’s requirements, and adhere to the principles of academic integrity.

Along with the manuscript, postgraduate students enrolled in state-funded programs must submit a certificate issued the graduate studies department confirming their enrollment. The certificate must be signed by the head of the relevant department and bear the its official seal.

Authors may also order a printed copy of the journal. The cost of a printed copy is UAH 1,000 and is payable in addition to the publication fee.

Deadlines

The electronic version of the journal will be publicly available on the official website on September 30, 2026.

The printed version of the journal will be sent to authors of articles who order a printed copy after October 30, 2026.
