Abstract

The article outlines the processes of globalization and characterizes its influence on language processes, the formation of an international language. Four stages of civilization are distinguished, which determined the development of the American English language. American English and British English have much in common, which has led to their comprehensibility and ease of use, and has contributed to the establishment of the first as an international language in the world. It is justified that any language has become the language of global and business communication, so that the country's economy has a significant impact on world economic development, has a powerful political influence on global development. It is characterized that the prerequisites for the introduction of American English as a global language have been created at the political, economic and cultural levels. The tasks of phraseology as a linguistic discipline include a comprehensive study of the phraseological fund of a particular language. Important aspects of the study of this science are: the stability of phraseological units, the systematicity of phraseology and the semantic structure of phraseological units, their origin and main functions. The linguistic and cultural value of American phraseological units of the English language lies in the reflection of the worldview of Americans, their values, and the determination of the nation's place in the overall civilizational cultural development. It is in phraseology that the accumulated experience of many generations with their own unique features that make up the identity of each people. The starting point of research into the cultural and national specificity of phrases is that they have their own ways of displaying it and means of correlation with it. In the paradigm of modern science, the study of idioms involves the implementation of linguistic and cultural and cognitive-cultural analysis. American English developed under the influence of globalization changes. The article determined that the development of globalization and the emergence of the international language of American English became an urgent need in the 21st century in order to simplify business documentation and communication between countries. The need to use American English as an international language was accelerated by military conflicts, revolutionary events, the development of the space industry, medicine, and information technology. The development of globalization and the gradual establishment of American English as an international language is associated with the first mass migration. American idioms that appear in this language reflect the emotions, images, interests of the American people. At the same time, the phraseological units of the English language contain the history of mankind.
