GOALS AND CONTENT OF STAGES OF FORMING THE GERMAN-LANGUAGE SOCIO-CULTURAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE TEACHERS BY MEANS OF PHRASEOLOGY

Abstract

The article presents the study of the goals and content of the stages of forming the German-language socio-cultural competence of future teachers by means of phraseology. The research methodology is based on the study and critical analysis of scientific publications and methodological literature on the problem of the phased organisation of the educational process of forming the foreign language socio- cultural competence in higher education institutions; proceeding from abstract to concrete in order to reveal the content of the stages of forming the German-language socio-cultural competence of future teachers by means of phraseology; generalisation for formulating research results.The scientific novelty of the study lies in: 1) generalization of the positive experience of the phased approach to forming the foreign language socio-cultural competence in higher education institutions; 2) development of approaches to the phased-based forming the German-language socio-cultural competence of future teachers; 3) clarification of the goals and content of the stages of forming the German-language socio-cultural competence of future teachers by means of phraseology. An analysis of scientific publications and methodological literature relating phase-based organisation of the educational process of forming the foreign language socio-cultural competence in higher education institutions has shown the prevalence and productivity of approaches in didactics of foreign language teaching, in which the phase-based formation of socio-cultural competence is based on the principles of systematicity and consistency, as well as the principle of professionalisation, which must be taken into account in the process of development of stages of formation of socio-cultural competence of future teachers by means of German phraseology.Forming the socio-cultural competence of future teachers by means of German phraseology is based on an activity-based approach. We consider the process of formation of socio-cultural competence to be a cultural and cognitive activity. The first stage of forming the German-language socio-cultural competence is the orientation stage, the main purpose of which is to orient students in the conditions of cultural and cognitive activity. The second stage is the practice stage, which is aimed at forming socio-cultural lexical skills and development of socio-cultural abilities. The third stage is the control stage, which is designed to ensure control of socio-cultural lexical receptive and reproductive skills, socio-cultural abilities, as well as the assessment of students' academic achievements and reflection.
