Musical ministry in churches of evangelical Christians has always played an important role. However, if we analyze the forms of musical service in modern churches, then we will see that this form of worship is going through a deep crisis. On the one hand, the musical concept includes choral singing, like a head-turned form of liturgy, on the other hand, the younger generation has a desire to create chambers for musical glorification. Apparently, the genre and stylistic basic of music service is significantly expanding. Today, the musical liturgical practice of many Protestant churches is expanding due to the transformation and accumulation of secular forms; as a result, the artistic expression of the concept of faith is expanding, represented by various forms of broadcasting religious evidence. However, music and forms of worship of God are closely related to emotions, they are difficult to grasp with one mind, so discussions often give rise to disputes and even quarrels. In this context, it should be remembered that the connection between religion and music is very deep, because both seek to order the world and bring true values. But music is not a neutral substance, it has a force, an influence, both creative and distructive. The scientific novelty consists in the historical structuring of the musical formation of the church service; explanations of the semantic load of the musical component in worship services of various directions; advanced analysis of the musical component of the Protestant service. The purpose of the study is the historical and semantic substantiation of the variety of styles of the modern Protestant service. The object of the research is the musical accompaniment of the church service. The subject of the study is the combination of harmony, form and meaning in the musical filling of the service. Research methods: historical excursion, literary analysis, stylistic justification, generalization of practical experience. Conclusions: along with other artistic forms, musical creativity in the Protestant cultural environment is a religious art based on canonical forms of liturgical practice. The concept of faith finds a diverse artistic expression, the arsenal of means of broadcasting religious experience expands, and, as a result, there is a stylistic expansion and combination of traditions with modern trends and directions.
