Abstract

In the article, the author explores the creative path of the Hungarian composer Ferenc Liszt, his evolutionary development and creative achievements and achievements. The development of the composer’s creativity, the influence of spiritual life on musical works, the embodiment of spiritual images in music and the disclosure of these images with the help of ascetic and minimalist means of expression are analyzed. The genre development of the artist and his achievements in the genres in which he worked are clarified. It was determined that the composer’s life and creative path can be divided into three main stages: «prelude», «central», and «postlude» in the composer’s work. It was found that in the work of Ferenc Liszt, the genres of transcription and paraphrase exist as an artistic translation of various orchestral, violin, vocal and other piano works. The creative achievements of the composer in the field of musical texture coloring are highlighted, where with the help of various soundimaging effects, he reproduces on the instrument the gurgling of water, imitation of folk instruments, scattering of pearls, etc. The relationship between the work of Ferenc Liszt and his achievements, on the basis of which such composers as P.I. Tchaikovsky, O. Scriabin, R. Strauss. The individuality of the Hungarian composer is considered, where he is a bold innovator who led constant artistic searches in the creation of various genres on the basis of national Hungarian folk music, which he took as the basis of his musical masterpieces of world importance. The work of the Hungarian composer is considered in different stages. The first stage «prelude» years of travels, the second stage «central» the stage of transcendent virtuosity, the third stage «postlude» based on the spiritual and religious formation of the composer. The final stage of Franz Liszt’s work is highlighted, which is closely connected with the death of his peer and colleague Richard Wagner. By delving into the autobiographical context, the author tries to reveal some important factors, moments and motives that in one way or another had an impact on the formation of important artistic and worldview foundations, which in a certain way had an impact on the evolutionary development of the composer and not only as a musician, but also as a person who absorbed the «spirit» and intellectual climate of that era.
