Publication conditions

DOWNLOAD AN INFORMATION LETTER

To publish an article in "Sloboda Scientific Journal. Natural Sciences" № 2/2026, it is necessary to take the following steps until August 28 inclusively:

1. fill in an application;

2. send the article formatted accordance with the requirements to natural.spu@gmail.com 

No more than one article by the same author (co-author) may be published in the issue.

Academic integrity

All manuscripts that pass the initial screening are subject to double-blind peer review. Both internal reviewers (members of the Editorial Board) and, where necessary, external reviewers participate in the review process.

Manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using StrikePlagiarism.com software developed by the Polish company Plagiat.pl.

Prohibition to refer to the aggressor state’s scholarly papers

It is prohibited citing and including in the reference list russian-language contributions published in any country, incl. papers written in other languages but published in russia and belarus.

Publication contribution

Submitted manuscripts are subject to editing, peer review, and plagiarism check.

If the article successfully passes peer review and is accepted for publication, the author will be provided with bank details for payment of the publication fee.

After making the payment, the author must send a scanned copy of the receipt to the editorial office.

The cost of publication is UAH 900 (for 12 pages). Each additional page ischarged at 50 UAH. The publication fee covers the costs associated with the processing, peer review, and/or publication of the article.

The editorial board accepts individual articles submitted by postgraduate students enrolled in state-funded programs for publication free of charge, provided that the manuscripts are authored solely by the students (without co-authors), comply with the journal’s requirements, and adhere to the principles of academic integrity.

Along with the manuscript, postgraduate students enrolled in state-funded programs must submit a certificate issued the graduate studies department confirming their enrollment. The certificate must be signed by the head of the relevant department and bear the its official seal.

Authors may also order a printed copy of the journal. The cost of a printed copy is UAH 1,000 and is payable in addition to the publication fee.

Deadlines

The electronic version of the journal will be publicly available on the official website until November 27, 2026.

The printed version of the journal will be sent to the authors who order a printed copy by December 27, 2026.
