Abstract

The article reveals the essence and content of modeling the educational process in primary school, its role in improving pedagogical activity and increasing the efficiency of learning for younger students. Based on the analysis of modern scientific sources, the works of Ukrainian and foreign researchers (I. Bekh, O. Savchenko, N. Bibik, L. Vygotsky, J. Piaget, J. Dewey, etc.), the methodological foundations of pedagogical modeling in the context of the New Ukrainian School are determined. The concept of a pedagogical model is clarified as a systemic means of representing, predicting, and optimizing the educational process. Particular attention is paid to innovative technologies of modeling educational activities, including the use of competency-based, activity-based, systemic, synergetic, and personality-oriented approaches. The methodology for constructing pedagogical models that ensure the effectiveness of teaching physical, linguistic, mathematical, and artistic-aesthetic disciplines in primary school is examined. Criteria and indicators of the quality of pedagogical modeling are defined, and the stages of model development are proposed, taking into account the psychophysiological characteristics of younger students. It is emphasized that modeling the educational process contributes to improving teachers’ pedagogical skills, creating conditions for the development of key competencies, and forming students’ cognitive activity, independence, and critical thinking. The conclusion emphasizes the expediency of further improving modeling methodology through the integration of digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and adaptive learning systems.
