Open access and archiving policy
The journal "Sloboda Scientific Journal. Natural Sciences" adheres to the Open Access policy. All articles are posted indefinitely and free of charge immediately after the issue is published. Full-text real-time access to the journal's scientific articles is presented on the journal's official website in the Archives section.
The journal "Sloboda Scientific Journal. Natural Sciences" implements a comprehensive digital archiving and long-term preservation policy for scholarly content, based on the use of international and national information preservation and archiving systems.
All journal articles are assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) via Crossref, ensuring persistent linking to electronic versions of publications, citation stability, and long-term accessibility within the international scholarly environment.
Printed copies of the journal are deposited in the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine in accordance with the national legal deposit requirements. Electronic versions are indexed in the Library’s electronic catalogue, ensuring state-level archival preservation.
Full-text publications are made available in open access through the institutional repository of the founding institution – Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko – eSSPUIR. The repository is registered in national and international registries, scientometric databases, and harvesters, including Bielefeld Academic Search Engine (BASE), Registry of Open access Repositories (ROAR), Registry of Open Access Repository Mandates and Policies (ROARMAP), Google Scholar, Simple Seach Metadata in Open Ukraine Arhives (SSM), and others. The repository provides persistent identifiers within the respective collection, ensures indefinite preservation of materials in PDF format, and maintains server-level backup. Access to archived materials is open and free of charge.
In the event of journal discontinuation, access to all published materials will be guaranteed through the DOI system (Crossref), the university’s institutional repository, and the holdings of the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine».
