Abstract

The involvement of the young generation in sports requires systematic monitoring of training and competition loads. Achieving high sports results requires a certain level of functional capabilities and is based on sufficient physiological supply of the body. Assessment of the dynamics of the systematic impact of aerobic-cyclic loads on the functional state of the cardiorespiratory system will provide an opportunity to achieve significant sports results with a minimal degree of risk of negative shifts in the functional capabilities of the organism of the young generation. The purpose of the study: to analyze the dynamics of changes in a number of cardiorespiratory indicators of students of higher education aged 19–21 under the influence of systematic loads of an aerobic-cyclic nature. Materials and methods. The 19 people aged 19–21 took part in the study, who had systematic training in athletics during the year. Monitoring of the functional state of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems is included in the research plan. The functional diagnosis of the system included the determination of functional-reserve capabilities by the Rufier test and the study of the tone of the autonomic nervous system using the Kerdo autonomic index. The obtained data were subject to mathematical and statistical processing. Results. The manifestations of sports hypotension were established in 56.78% of young men and sports bradycardia in 67.89% of young men aged 19–21. A probable difference in the balance of vegetative processes is characteristic of young men of 20 years. In the process of systematic training, the number of young men with a high level of functional and reserve capabilities doubled. The indicated results indicate adaptive changes in the dynamics of the functional state of their organism under the influence of systematic aerobic loads.
