CLASSIFICATION OF DIRECTIONS OF NATIONAL OLYMPIC ACADEMIES OF DIFFERENT COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD

The article indicates the classification of the areas of activity of national Olympic academies of different countries of the world.One of the important areas of activity of the International Olympic Committee and National Olympic Committees is the propaganda of the ideas of Olympism, the popularization of knowledge about the Olympic movement, the history of the Olympic Games of ancient Greece and modern times; an organic combination of educational and educational tasks of raising children and youth in the process of physical education. The experimental methods were chosen based on the need to implement these directions, taking into account the specifics of the object and subject of the research. To solve the tasks set and to ensure the scientific reliability of the research results, we used a fairly wide range of general scientific and historical research methods: The following research methods were used: analysis of scientific and methodological literature and Internet materials; analysis of documentary and archival materials; abstraction method; methods of comparison and classification; methods of mathematical statistics.In the structure of the Olympic movement at the international level, the implementation of programs of Olympic education of youth in the spirit of the ideas of Olympism is entrusted to the International Olympic Academy, National Olympic Academies, National Federations of sports, educational institutions of all levels and other organizations.The need for Olympic education for the development of the Olympic movement, the whole society as a way of humanization is recognized today all over the world. This is confirmed by numerous scientific studies devoted to the analysis of various aspects of the Olympic movement and Olympic education.To date, the social significance of the Olympic movement and the undeniable equivalence of the educational and educational tasks of sport have been substantiated in detail, however, there is a lack of relevant studies on the role and place of Olympic education in the system of activities of the International Olympic Academy and National Olympic Academies, which significantly reduces the level of the Olympic movement. There is an urgent need to expand the field of Olympic education, study the Olympic ideals, which are a kind of basis for the Olympic movement.Despite the existing publications, the issue of studying the classification of areas of activity of national Olympic academies of different countries of the world remains a relevant issue of scientific research and a practically significant problem.
