Abstract

The aim of this work is to actualize the teaching of nutrition consulting to future physical culture and sports professionals in the process of mastering the educational component «Sports Nutrition». Important aspects for bachelor degree seekers are familiarity with aspects of nutrition consulting in the educational-training process in sports and fitness, particularly in understanding the importance of vitamins, their functions and interactions with other supplements, to improve cognitive functions among others. Indeed, most people who are into sports and fitness are convinced that the only way to achieve good results is through training and consumption of relevant drugs to improve physical condition on body functions. They gain information through recommendations, those who have been exercising physically alongside them for a longer time, and through the internet. Although in reality this is far from the case, as the important factors influencing the result in sports and fitness are the following: absence of stress (emotional and nervous strain), rest and sleep, rational nutrition and consumption of food supplements to improve body functioning. Therefore, it should be done through medical prescriptions and consulting by physical culture and sports professionals. Studying the peculiarities of the action of vitamins and working out aspects of nutrition consulting is an important stage of bachelor's training in the specialty 017 Physical Culture and Sports. The purpose of the work. Actualization of knowledge about the action of vitamins in the functioning of the body when using drugs to improve cognitive functions, concentration and attention, which is extremely important in nutrition consulting by future physical culture and sports professionals. Methodology. Theoretical foundations of physiology, biochemistry and food hygiene. Basics of rational and balanced nutrition. Research task. Study of literary sources and their analysis, interpretation, summarization, actualization. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the generalization and actualization of issues on the peculiarities in nutrition consulting for future physical culture and sports professionals, which will expand their knowledge in the field and will contribute to the formation of professional competencies for nutrition consulting. Conclusions. Thus, during the work with literature on the actualization of knowledge about the action of vitamins in the functioning of the body when using drugs to improve cognitive functions, concentration and attention. The importance of understanding the action of vitamins and their functions in work with other food supplements has been revealed, which is extremely important in consulting by future physical culture and sports professionals.
